You need to visit Toshiba Support and identify your laptop model then you will be taken to the Downloads section from where you can download the driver for your module. You need to select the proper operating system in your computer then download the driver. Install it and then you can access the Bluetooth icon on the system tray. Right click the icon and add the compatible devices.

I'm running Windows Vista 32bit, on my HP 6375s and I have just purchased a Toshiba Bluetooth dongle bt1.2/2.0/2.1 to set up my iPhone 4. The program finds the phone, but the phone is not connecting (it is switched on and discoverable). I get a "Pan Server Denied" message on screen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it a few times with the same result. What can I do?

Firstly, you need to know that you can pair your phone to your computer by Bluetooth to use only the personal hotspot feature, nothing else. In order to fix your problems, I suggest you check the troubleshooting guide provided by Apple. Follow one by one the steps from the guide and check where is the issue. If you still need assistance, you will need to contact the support team.

Try uninstalling the application and then installing it again. This should fix it. Alternatively, access Device Manager and make sure that the driver is properly installed. In most of the cases this is the cause of the errors. If you're using a laptop, make sure to turn on the Wireless/Bluetooth devices using the built-in button switch.

Answer by Dan Angel

Go to Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Bluetooth Devices, click Add and follow the on-screen instructions. If this doesn't enable the Bluetooth, navigate to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center, click Change Adapter Settings, right-click on the Bluetooth Network Connection and select Enable. If it still doesn't work, go to Toshiba Support page, identify your laptop model, select you operating system and download and install the latest Bluetooth files available.

Open Bluetooh menu on the computer and go to Settings. Check the option that says to make the device visible for all others in the surrounding area. Turn on Bluetooth on the phone and then pair the devices between them. This is an easy job: search for Bluetooth enabled devices on the phone and when you find the computer, tap/select Pair. On the computer, right click a file > Send to > Bluetooth devices and select your device. Confirm the operation and the file will be sent to your phone.

I have HCL Me laptop. Bluetooth was working but for last 20 days it is not responding. Can you please suggest what to do?

Try to reinstall Bluetooth Stack (driver) but before doing that you need to remove it from your computer using its uninstaller from Control Panel. This should fix it. Alternatively, make sure that everything is OK in the Device Manager.
